Description

The West Cartshed, located approximately 95 metres north-northwest of Wood Hall, is an 18th-century structure. It features weatherboard cladding over a timber frame and has a hipped roof made of corrugated iron. Originally a five-bay cartshed, it was extended by three additional bays in the late 18th or early 19th century to the left. The building includes an aisle at the rear and displays arch bracing on the tie beams and arcade plates. The roof is a collar-truss design with raking struts and 20th-century clasped purlins. The later three-bay extension is similar in style but lacks arch bracing on the arcade plates.
