Description

Lower Green Farmhouse is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed building featuring gabled cross wings at both the north and south ends. A gabled block was added at the north end during the 17th to 18th century. The farmhouse was refronted in 19th century brick and is now plastered. It has two storeys and a window arrangement of one:two:one, consisting of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The roof is tiled and includes a central chimney stack.
