Description

The Elm Tree Inn is a timber-framed and plastered building constructed around 1600, featuring a cross wing at the east end. It stands two storeys high, with the upper storey of the cross wing jettied on the south front. The building has three windows on the upper storey, which are horizontal sliding sashes, and one double-hung sash window with vertical glazing bars, along with two bay windows with glazing bars on the ground storey. The roof is tiled and includes a central rectangular chimney stack.
