Description

Hobs Aerie is an early 19th-century house built of white brick, featuring a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered rear wing. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars, set in plain reveals with stuccoed heads. A raised stucco band runs across the front of the house between the storeys. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door topped by an ornamental fanlight, which is framed by a Doric portico supported by fluted columns. The roof is covered with slate.
