Description

Granta House is a house with origins in the 16th century, but it was almost completely rebuilt in the early 19th century. The structure is made of brick with stuccoed walls and is designed in an H plan, featuring pedimented wings at both the north and south ends of the east front. The building has two storeys and a window arrangement of one:three:one, with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars in the wings and casement windows in the central block. The entrance features a central six-panel double door with a segmental head. The roof is covered with slate.
