Description

Ricketts Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered house built around 1600, although it has undergone significant alterations. The northeast front features two gables; one at the northeast end projects forward and includes a modern bay on the ground floor, while the other has a two-storey canted bay. The front windows are double-hung sashes, and the rear has casement windows. The house is two storeys tall and has two original chimney stacks: one with grouped diagonal shafts and the other an external stack with two octagonal shafts. The roofs are tiled.
