Description

Down Farmhouse is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered house that has undergone significant alterations, particularly on the east side in the 1930s, and has been renovated more recently. The building is two storeys high and features a seven-window range on the west front, with casement windows that have glazing bars from the 20th century. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles.
