Description

Free Roberts Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house with a cross wing located at the east end. The main block has been extended by two window bays to the west. The building is one storey high, with attics. The original section features double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the later addition has smaller casement windows. The roof is tiled, punctuated by four gabled dormers, and retains an original central chimney stack with grouped diagonal shafts.
