Description

The White House is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered house located at Great Sampford Moor End. It features two gables on the south-west front and has wings that extend to the north-east at the rear. The building is two storeys high, with attics and a cellar. The south-west front has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the north-west front has casement windows. The roofs are tiled, and there is an original square chimney stack with grouped square shafts, which has a heart carved at its base. The north-west front also includes three large gabled dormers.
