Description

Long Yards is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered building that was originally two cottages but has been converted into one tenement. It has one storey and attics, featuring old iron casements with lattice leaded lights and boarded doors. The thatched roof is adorned with four swept dormers. Inside, the building showcases exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams and joists, old boarded doors with iron fittings, original floorboards on the first floor, and a brick floor on the ground storey.
