Description
This is a thatched cottage, likely dating from around 1832. It was built for Johnathon Bull, who was an innkeeper. The front is rendered and painted brick, with brick returns. The roof is thatched and features hipped crosswings to the right and left, each with gablets and eyebrow dormers. Two eyebrow dormers are present in the central range, along with two red brick chimney stacks. The cottage is one storey high with attics, and the dormers contain 2-light casement windows. The crosswings have similar windows on the ground floor. A central door has four panels, a moulded surround and frieze, and a flat canopy. The current owner provided the date and related information.
