Description

This tomb, dating from the 18th or 19th century, is located 60 feet northwest of the northwest corner of the Church of St. Mary in Stapleford Tawney. It stands on a base with four steps and features two moulded supports. Atop the supports is a fluted and moulded oval tureen with a moulded lid. Each face of the tomb displays a coat of arms; one features seven fleur-de-lys and a lion rampant, while the other showcases three birds along with a wave pattern.
