Description

Haynes Green Farmhouse is a late 16th-century building that underwent extensive alterations in the 18th century. It is timber-framed and faced in painted brick, featuring a parapet facade and a red plain tile roof. The farmhouse has two storeys and a three-window range with vertical sliding double-hung sashes. The centre front projects forward to create a two-storey porch with a "Tudor" arch. The original stack has diagonal shafts and has been rebuilt at the top. It is likely that the farmhouse was originally moated.
