Description
23 and 23A Maidenburgh Street is a building from the 17th century or earlier, featuring a wing that extends east at the north end. It has two storeys and attics, with a timber-framed and plastered structure, and tiled roofs. The upper storey projects on the west front at two levels, supported by two original shaped brackets on the north part. There are some 18th century double hung sash windows, and No 23A has two large three-light double hung sash windows with glazing bars on its north side. Additionally, there are two ground floor oriel windows. The buildings from Nos 14 to 25, including 23A, form a group.
