Description

Hill House is an early 19th-century house located in Messing-cum-Inworth. It is constructed of brick and timber framing, with a plastered exterior and a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys, along with cellars and attics. There is a late 19th-century or early 20th-century extension at the north end. The house features a two-window range with two-storey bays, which have double-hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. The central entrance door is framed by a pedimented doorcase and moulded architraves, and there is a flight of steps leading up to the entrance, complete with a wrought iron handrail. The overall design follows a double range plan.
