Description

Blue Barns Farmhouse is a 16th-century timber-framed house, originally plastered. It was altered in the 19th century and subsequently renovated in the 20th century. The house is two storeys high with a three-window front, featuring modern casement windows. The ground floor has two bays. The roof is tiled and has a small gablet at the south end. The interior retains exposed timber framing, ceiling beams and joists, and some original windows with diamond mullions, although these are now blocked.
