Description

Champions is a 17th century timber-framed and weatherboarded house with a plastered front, located on the southeast side of Great and Little High Road in Leighs. The building has been altered in the 18th century and later. It stands two storeys high and features a two-window range with casement windows that have glazing bars and shutters. The roof is covered with old tiles. Champions is part of a group that includes Walnut Tree Cottage, Green Tones, The Glen, Apple Tree Cottage, and Brenwood Cottage, with Green Tones and The Glen recognized as buildings of local interest.
