Bear Hall is a timber-framed house, possibly dating to the 17th century, though it has undergone significant restoration and renovation, particularly in the 20th century. The front elevation has been almost entirely rebuilt in the 20th century. The house comprises cross wings located at the east and west ends. The east side exhibits exposed timber framing. The windows are 20th-century leaded casements. The roof is tiled.
