Description

Rose Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage constructed with a timber frame and rendered exterior, topped with a tiled roof that is hipped to the south. The building stands two storeys tall and features two windows on the main part, along with a one-bay extension to the right. The windows are nine-pane sashes with horns, except for the ground floor of the main part, which has 12-pane sashes. The central entrance is a boarded door. The frame includes primary braced slender, waney edged hedgerow wood, with some brick infilling between the studs. Inside, there is a cambered brick fireplace.
