Plough Cottage is a surviving section of a range of small timber-framed and plastered cottages from the 17th to 18th century, now functioning as a single tenement. The building has one storey and attics, featuring a three-window range with casement windows. Access to the doorway is via a flight of steps from the pavement. The roof is tiled and includes three sloping dormers.
