Description

This granary, located approximately 16 metres east of Pannels Ash Farmhouse, was built around 1853. It is constructed of red brick and features a grey slate roof. At the western gabled end, there is a brick round-headed doorway that is accessed by steps. Above the doorway, a stone plaque reads "John Elwes 1853". The rear of the granary has a double door and a louvre. The structure is raised on arched brick piers and is noted for its quality as a granary, as well as its group value with nearby buildings.
