Description

This granary, located 10 metres north-north-west of Bullocks Cross Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, with a roof made of handmade red plain tiles. The building has a square plan and features an entrance on the northeast side. It is raised on piers of red brick and has a pyramidal roof that ends in an octagonal post, into which the hip rafters are tenoned. The hip ridges are adorned with half-round tiles, and the structure includes primary straight bracing. The frame is complete.
