Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed building located at 53-57 Church Street, Bocking. It has a jettied upper storey supported by curved brackets. The building underwent extensive alterations and renovations in 1971. It is two storeys high with a three-window front. The windows are 2-light casements with leaded lights. The ground floor now features 20th-century bow windows, designed to resemble 18th-century style with glazing bars. The roof was replaced in the 20th century and is tiled, with three gabled dormers.
