Description

Hurlocks Farmhouse is a 17th-century building that has been altered and enlarged in the 19th century, reflecting its exterior appearance from that period. The farmhouse is two storeys high and features weatherboarded timber framing. It consists of two sections, with the left side being taller and built later, having higher eaves and ridge levels. Each section has one 19th-century sash window and a near central door topped with a flat gabled wood hood. The roof is covered with old tiles. At the rear, there is a catslide outshut attached to the older left section. The right side also has two storeys, with a sash window on each floor. Inside, some exposed timber framing can be seen in the earlier part of the building.
