Description

Whitensmere Farmhouse is an 18th and 19th century house. It is timber-framed with plaster rendering and tiled roofs, featuring red brick ridge stacks. The main east-west range is joined by two parallel domestic wings to the north. The house has two storeys and an attic. The east gable end has a 19th century stuccoed porch, containing the principal entry. There is one hung sash window to each storey. The gabled domestic wings each have a single room at ground floor level. A 19th century red brick addition is located on the south side, and red brick also casings the gable end of the east-west range.
