Description

No. 5 High Street is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features a rendered timber-frame structure with a red brick parapet gable on the right side and a red brick extension on the left. The bay on the right side was extended to the west in the 19th century. The cottage is one storey high and has a plain tall ridge stack located to the right of the center. On the front, there is a flush-panelled door on the right and four windows with glazing bars, along with one unglazed round window and one blocked opening on the left. The building is included for its group value.
