Description
The Hare and Hounds Public House is a late 18th century building, likely timber-framed and rendered on a brick sill, topped with a long straw thatch roof and featuring a single end stack made of grey brick. The main part of the building faces the road, with a kitchen wing at the rear that creates a T-shaped plan. It stands two storeys tall and has a symmetrical front with three original window openings, which have been replaced with mid 20th century flush frame casements. There is a central doorway set within a mid 20th century gable porch. The kitchen wing is also thatched. The interior of the front range has been altered and is now a single room.
