Description

28 High Street is an early 18th-century building constructed of red brick, featuring a rendered plinth and a projecting band between the storeys. The structure has two storeys and an attic, with six windows that are sash style, complete with glazing bars and ogee heads in the upper sash. A Roman Doric porch leads to a tall six-panel door. The building is topped with a modillion eaves cornice that continues seamlessly with No 29 next door. The old tile roof includes three flat-topped dormers, each with ogee-headed sashes. The rear elevation is similar in style to the front.
