Description

No. 23, Slepy Cottage, is a late 17th-century cottage located on the north side of Honey Hill in Fenstanton. The building originally comprised three units and has a modern extension to the right. It is constructed of rendered brick and has a pantile roof, with a decorative band running along the first-floor level. The front facade features four modern dormer windows in the attic and five modern windows at ground-floor level. A door is situated in line with the ridge stack. The interior retains two inglenook hearths, one of which has stop-chamfered mantel beams, and a richly stopped ceiling beam in the original hall.
