Description

No. 188 on High Street is a cottage with a shop at the south end, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of gault brick and features a steeply pitched tiled roof with a ridge stack. The building has two storeys and three window openings on the first floor, one of which is blocked. The windows and the house doorway are topped with segmental arches, and there is a single segmental arch for the shop window and doorway. The shop has a 19th-century plank door.
