Description

No. 110 High Street is a building dated 1727, designed in the Baroque style. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red brick with rubbed brick dressings. The building features pilasters at the sides and a dentilled cornice. A stone panel on the parapet is inscribed with the date 1727. The ground floor has a modern shop front, while the upper floors contain three sash windows with glazing bars, segmental heads, and a round arched window in the centre. There is a band between the first and second floors, and the parapet is panelled. The roof is not visible. The initials "J P" on the parapet refer to Pashellers Bank, which collapsed in 1827.
