Description
The Brewhouse and Laundry at Hinchingbrooke House is a building dating from the 16th century, with an upper storey added in 1909. It is partly constructed from stone of nunnery origin and has been built up in brick during the 1909 alterations. The structure has two storeys and is divided into four bays by buttresses. It features mullioned casements with drip-moulds, which appear to have been mostly renewed. The building is topped with a castellated parapet and crow-stepped gables, and it has a tile roof that includes two large multi-shafted brick stacks.
