Description

Church Bridge crossing Alconbury Brook is a medieval bridge that has undergone repairs and rebuilding in the 20th century. The metalled road leading to the bridge is supported by four limestone piers featuring cut waters. It has wooden railings that are painted white. A footbridge was repaired during the reign of Edward VI by the church wardens, possibly using stone from the dissolved priory at Grange Farm, Hamerton.
