Description

Victoria Terrace is a group of thirty-six cottages with two smaller flanking houses, built in 1850. The terrace is located on Hemingford Road, Hemingford Grey. It is constructed of gault brick with slate roofs, except for the modern tile roof on number 38. A dentil eaves cornice runs along the top of the terrace, and there are ridge stacks. The buildings are two storeys high. Modern doors and windows are fitted, featuring segmental headed arches to the ground-floor windows. The doorways have pediments with flat stone canopies supported by scroll brackets. Numbers 1 and 38 each have a three-window range with a blind centre opening. Carriageways are located at numbers 2 and 37, also with segmental headed arches.
