Description

44 High Street is a building that has been altered in the late 18th century or early 19th century, originally likely a timber-framed house. It features a steeply pitched old tiled roof with two gabled dormers. The first floor is made of colour-washed brick and has three flush sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor, constructed of red brick, includes two segmentally arched sash windows and a carriageway on the left side. The building has two storeys and attics. At the rear, there is a gabled back wing that is set at right angles to the front block, which has four gabled dormers.
