Description
This is a mid to late 17th century aisled barn located at the rear of number 3 West Street in Isleham, likely built around the same time as the main house. The northern aisle has been removed, and a two-storey extension was added in the 19th century. The barn is constructed of clunch, partly covered with weatherboarding, and features a steeply pitched pantiled roof. The 19th-century extension is also made of clunch, with a low-pitched slate roof and a round-headed arch for a hoist opening on the first floor. Inside, the barn consists of four bays, and the original gable of the roof is visible within the extension.
