Description
Colsor is a mid to late 17th-century farmhouse featuring a three-bay, lobby-entry plan. The building is timber framed and has an early 18th-century chequer-board pattern brick casing on the ground floor, with later 19th-century casing on the first floor. It has a steeply pitched, plain tiled roof with an original ridge stack and an end stack. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three 19th-century casement windows, each with three lights, along with two ground floor windows on either side of the doorway. To the right, there is an early 18th-century single-storey service wing, also with a plain tile roof. Inside, some of the framing is exposed, including the floor frame in a first-floor room, which features an ovolo-moulded main beam and another beam with a chamfer stop. One first-floor room includes an original egg and dart moulding around the fireplace surround.
