Description
The Urn and Temple at Emperor's Walk, located at Anglesey Abbey, is a Grade II* listed structure. The urn is an ancient Roman piece made of Egyptian porphyry, featuring a stem of white granite and a base of Swedish porphyry. It has a copper cover and is believed to have originated from Doughty House in Richmond. The urn is housed within an open-sided temple designed in a Chinese style, supported by Tuscan columns and topped with a copper roof. Previously, the urn was situated at Burrows Hill, near Chertsey.
