Description

This barn, located about 100 yards northeast of Burgh Hall, dates from the 17th century. It features a timber-frame structure set on a brick sill, with walls that are rendered in plaster. The roof is half-hipped and originally thatched, but it is now covered with corrugated iron. The barn has three bays and is aisled. The roof is constructed with side purlins and does not include Queen posts, while the aisle ties are braced to the arcade posts.
