Description

The premises occupied by H J Cutlack is an 18th-century brick house that was originally a private dwelling and is now part of the business premises. The building has two storeys, attics, and cellars, featuring a five-window range. The ground floor has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor mainly consists of mullioned and transomed casements, with one window retaining its original leaded lights. A raised brick band runs between the storeys, and there is a brick pilaster at the south end. The roof is tiled and steeply pitched, with a wood modillioned eaves cornice and four hipped dormers, one of which also has original leaded lights.
