Description

The urn at Daffodil Walk, located at Anglesey Abbey, dates from around 1730. It is made of limestone and features twisted fluting. The urn stands on a carved plinth that commemorates the eight hundredth anniversary of the foundation of Anglesey Abbey. The plinth is adorned with the arms of Lord Fairhaven and Major Broughton, along with a Latin text composed by Lord Birkenhead in 1930.
