Description
This pair of urns, located at the Hyacinth Garden in Anglesey Abbey, dates back to the 17th century and was modeled by Claude Ballin, who served as goldsmith to Louis XIV. The urns are made of bronze and feature female sphinx handles on satyr masks. They are believed to have originated from Bagatelle in Picardy.
