Description

No 84 is an 18th-century cottage located on High Street. It is timber-framed and rendered, featuring a steeply pitched cement-tiled roof with a gault brick ridge stack. The cottage has a plan consisting of two rooms with an outshut at the rear. It is one storey high with attics and includes two gabled eaves dormers from around 1880, which have pierced bargeboarding. The main entrance is now situated in the gable end and is beneath an original iron casement. The interior has not been seen. Although it was originally on High Street, it is now within the park of Swaffham Prior House due to the diversion of the road.
