Description
There are four K6 telephone kiosks located adjacent to the Church of St Mary the Great. These kiosks were designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and made by various contractors. They are constructed from cast iron and feature a square shape with domed roofs. The top panels have unperforated crowns, and the windows and doors have margin glazing. The kiosks were relocated to their current position in the mid-1990s.
