Description
Gonville and Caius College features the Gate of Honour and flanking walls, designed by Dr Caius in 1575. The structure is made of ashlar and showcases a correct and varied use of Classical detailing, resembling a triumphal arch but on a small scale. The gate, along with the flanking stone and red brick walls, constitutes the South range of Caius Court.
