Description

Nos 60 and 62 High Street are an early 19th-century building, likely originally a toll-house, with additions from the mid-19th century. Constructed of grey gault brick, the building is two storeys high with sash windows featuring glazing bars. The entrance to No 62 is canted forward onto the pavement. No 60 has a canted bay window extending through both floors on its north wall, a feature likely added in the mid-19th century. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. This building demonstrates group value from the period.
