Description

This is an 18th-century building on High Street, Chesterton, altered and extended in the 19th century. The front elevation is constructed of brown brick to the top of the first-floor window arches, with the remainder being grey gault brick. It is two storeys and has attics. The original design was symmetrical, with five bays and a central doorway. All windows are now mid-19th century sash windows, and there are two modern doorways. The 18th-century doorcase is no longer present. A modern tiled mansard roof has been added.
