Description

No. 81 High Street is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall and is constructed of gault brick with a slate roof and a parapet. The facade features three windows with glazing bars. There is a porch that includes an entrance doorway flanked by fluted Ionic columns, topped with an entablature that has an enriched frieze, a modillioned cornice, and a pediment. The doorcase is from the 18th century and was taken from an earlier house. The staircase inside is original.
