Description
Trinity College features impressive wrought iron double gates and an overthrow with wrought iron standards, which were erected in 1733 but are of earlier origin. The gates consist of three sections, each with an overthrow, all made of wrought iron. The short lengths of railings on either side are likely from 1733 as well. These gates were originally from Horseheath Hall, which is also associated with St John's College.
