Description

The Church of St Mary and All Saints is a parish church dating back to the early 16th century, with alterations made in the 17th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick and ragstone rubble, with limestone dressings, and has a plain tiled roof. The chancel, dating to the 16th century, retains one original window in its east wall and another in the south wall. A 17th-century arcade with two bays is located in the north wall, featuring round arches with two chamfered orders. The nave has two 16th-century windows with four-centred heads, along with a 16th-century south doorway with a segmental head. A 17th-century brick south porch is also present. The timber belfry was rebuilt in 1842.
